時間分配和同步系統TDS可以實現遠程位置之間的高精度定時。該系統采用鎖模激光器(也就是光學主控振蕩器)產生的超低噪聲脈沖序列作為定時信號。光學主控振蕩器的定時信號通過定時鏈路從中心位置傳輸到多個終端站,這些終端站的傳輸延遲由平衡的光學交叉相關器穩定。無論是超高速激光器還是微波源,都可以與Cycle公司的TCBOC或BOMPD緊密同步到每個穩定光纖鏈路的末端。一個時間分配和同步系統TDS平臺可以提供多達8個鏈接。由于采用模塊化設計,可以在多個平臺之間相互添加,使系統能夠提供更多的鏈接。時間分配和同步系統TDS自帶自動化的控制系統,包括電子預鎖系統,具有自啟動和自鎖解決方案。
