履帶式拋丸機屬于拋丸機的一種產品，其利用高速回轉的葉輪，將彈丸拋向滾筒內連續翻轉的工件上，達到清理的目的。
該拋丸機適合對各行業中的小型鑄件、鍛件、沖壓件等進行拋丸除銹、去除氧化皮和表面強化，特別適用于不怕碰撞的零件的表面清理及強化。鑄件經過拋丸清理，加工面便于下道機械加工工序，不但可節省加工時間，而且可保護機床和刀具不受損壞；非加工面涂漆后，經久不脫，提高產品使用壽命和外觀質量。
履帶式拋丸清理機工作原理：在清理室中用加料機構加入不超過規定數量的工件。機器啟動后，工件被滾筒帶動翻轉，同時由拋丸機拋出的高速彈丸形成彈丸束，均勻地打擊在工件表面上，使其得到清理。拋丸清理完畢后，通過反轉履帶，即可將工件從滾筒內卸出到卸料機構上，故該拋丸機特別適合集成到自動化生產線上。 拋出的彈丸及砂粒經鋼履帶的間隙或橡膠履帶上的小孔，流入底部的鋼板網過篩，經螺旋輸送器送入提升機內，再到分離器中進行分離。粉塵由風機吸送到除塵器中過濾，清潔空氣排入大氣中，布袋上的灰塵經反吹旋噴落入除塵器底部的集塵箱中，用戶可定期清除，廢砂由廢料管流出以便回用。丸砂混合物由回用管收回進入室體，待分離器分離后再回用，干凈的彈丸經由供丸系統的電磁供丸閘門進入拋丸機再次拋打工件。
