性狀:黃色至金色或金棕色粉末或晶體。溶于乙醇、甲醇、醋酸乙酯、熱冰醋酸,微溶于氯和硝基苯,幾乎不溶于水,溶于稀氫氧化鈉呈綠棕色,濃硫酸中呈黃色并顯綠色熒光。熔點(diǎn)256~271℃
用途:生化研究。黃芩的主要黃酮,抑制花生四烯酸代謝中的12-脂肪氧化酶路徑(12-lipoxygenase ,12-LOX),此路徑能抑制癌細(xì)胞的增殖,誘導(dǎo)凋亡途徑
