Biolog Ambulatory Data Recorders GJ2-EOS-Bravo-3992 Platform
The Biolog(R) is a rugged, yet flexible, ambulatory physiological data recorder supporting a broad line of signal conditioners from a number of channels. Three easily customized platforms are available to fit most physiological research recording needs. The 3992 is pictured to the left. Conditioned data are sampled at the desired resolution (8, 12, or 16 bits) under microprocessor control. Recorded data is compactly stored on a PCMCIA memory card (3992 and 3993 only). 1 to 7 channels of signal conditioning Sample resolution: 8 or 12 bits Rugged, plastic case: 1.5“ x 5“ x 7“ 12 key keypad with tactile and visual feedback Built-in “graphics“ LCD waveform display Interlocking power switch to prevent ram card removal or insertion while power is applied Ram card data downloaded through BCR When recording is complete, the card is removed from the Biolog and inserted into a card reader (BCR-100, see below), connected to the host PC through a serial port. The Downloading and Plotting Software (DPS) operating on a PC host computer (win31/9x) supervises downloading the tightly packed data to a disk file. From there it can be viewed, printed, moved to the clipboard, or converted into channel specific ASCII data files (for further spreadsheet analysis) all under DPS control.A wide range of signal conditioners are available ECG/HR/IBI, EOG(D.C.!), EMG, EGG, EEG and more Fetrodes(R) used on all bioelectric channels Respiration, PPG/PTT, Pressure, Temperature and others Proprietary front-ends: SCL, Impedance Respiration All input assemblies / transducers included Rugged keyed and locking input connectors Each signal conditioner designed to YOUR specifications for Gain, Frequency Response, Data Reduction, Sample Rate, etc. 9V battery operation yields inherent subject isolation Flexible PCMCIA “ram card“ data storage (3992 and 3993) SRam cards hold up to 4 MB of data (2 MB standard) Ram cards can be swapped quickly for long-term recording Download through Biolog Card Reader
