近些年，我國液位計產業出口廠商的利潤率卻在持續下滑，部分產品產能嚴重過剩，上半年液位計產業的進口額和進口數量下滑明顯，這一方面說明我國液位計產業制造水平提升較快。預計今年全行業產銷仍將保持兩位數的增長。從整體看，當前外部經濟環境依然嚴峻，行業發展面臨許多困難和不利因素。在當前形勢下，全行業要善用倒逼機制，積極推進液位計產業的結構調整和發展方式轉變，以此保證行業增長質量的提高。當前，我國液位計產業具有廣闊的市場前景，市場非常明確，預計到“十二五”末，液位計市場需求可能達到5萬臺。但迄今為止，液位計產業所需要的配套件基本上全部依賴進口。而國外的液位計企業，*要滿足其國內企業的需要，第二要滿足在華外資企業的需要，第三才考慮到我國本土企業的需要。這一局面對我國液位計生產企業的制約作用將越來越明顯。今年我國液位計生產企業中，有向國外液位計企業交完錢長達一年半，仍無法拿貨的，但是日方企業遲遲供應不上的，年初向日本企業定貨，結果到了年底還是沒給貨，導致液位計產出。不僅供貨期不能保證，同時，從國外采購的液位計產業價格一般沒有商量的余地;加上售前、售后服務不到位等因素，極大制約了國內液位計生產企業的發展。雖然市場需求強勁，但是國內液位計產業龐大，需求等國內多種因素，我國液位計產業發展還是比較耀眼。
