4.增強外部故障的檢測與處理能力
根據統計資料表明:在PLC控制系統的故障中,CPU占5%,I/O接口占15%,輸入設備占45%,輸出設備占30%,線路占5%。前二項共20%故障屬于PLC的內部故障,它可通過PLC本身的軟、硬件實現檢測、處理;而其余80%的故障屬于PLC的外部故障。因此,PLC生產廠家都致力于研制、發展用于檢測外部故障的智能模塊,進一步提高系統的可靠性。
