1、介質流動方向應與閥體箭頭方向*；
2、自力式壓差控制閥應安裝在回水管上，閥上接導壓管，導壓管的另一端與供水管連接，建議在導壓管供水端安裝1/2"球閥，以便啟動消除堵塞功能；
3、在導壓管前的供水管上應安裝過濾網，避免水質太差造成該閥失去自動調節功能；
4、供水管和該閥前的回水管應分別裝設壓力表，便于調節控制壓差;
5、如發現該系統流量過大或過小，可能的原因是管道元件安裝時的雜物卡阻在閥塞上，可將1/2"球閥關閉3—5分鐘，這時如果是較輕堵塞，即可自動消除，如還不能消除，則要拆開閥門檢查消除堵塞物；
6、控制壓差調節方法：逆時針方向調節調壓閥桿，觀察壓差。
