The Thermo Scientific Pierce Chemiluminescent Nucleic Acid Detection Module is a complete system for detection of biotin-labeled nucleic acid probes in various membrane blotting applications.
Nearly any DNA or RNA method based on nitrocellulose or nylon membranes and biotinylated probes can be detected with sensitivity equivalent to traditional radioactive （32P） systems. The module consists of the essential detection components used in the Thermo Scientific North2South Kit and Thermo Scientific LightShift EMSA Kit. The system includes an enhanced luminol substrate for horseradish peroxidase （HRP） with optimized blocking and wash buffers that provide for fast, trouble-free detection on film or by CCD camera. Obtain publication-quality blots having excellent signal and low background.
