1、上裝式結構，即閥門的主要部件——蝶板是經由閥體上部的矩形中法蘭口裝入體腔的，當閥門需要檢修時，無須將其從管線上拆下，只要花極少時間打開上蓋便能連閥桿帶蝶板從體腔中一起取出進行維修作業。
 2、本閥門在進行維修作業的同時可以酌情保留管道中的介質，這便免除了使用方許多前期輔助工作，使維修變得較為簡捷。
 3、在一些特定的場合，本閥門在進行搶修期間可以不影響管道系統的正常運行，只要在取出蝶板組合件后迅速封閉上口便可立即恢復管道的帶壓運行，使搶修閥門造成的效益損失降低到最小程度。
