HVC系列程控維氏硬度計有六種型號:分別為10kg手動及自動轉塔維氏硬度計、30kg手動及自動轉塔維氏硬度計、50kg手動及自動轉塔維氏硬度計，是采用精密機械和傳感器及光、電、計算機軟件程序控制相結合的新型硬度測試儀。該硬度計改變了傳統硬度計用砝碼重量作為試驗力加載的方式，從而簡化了硬度計結構，提高了硬度計的自動程度和綜合精度，是國內目前的一臺用計算機控制的維氏硬度計。它可用于測試金屬的維氏或努氏硬度，通過把測量的對角線值輸入到一體化計算器，從而計算出硬度值。D型還擁有測量物鏡與壓頭自動切換裝置。

    該硬度計應用范圍廣，即適用于測量微小、薄形及表面滲鍍層處理后的零件，也適用于一般機械零件測試，顯微維氏硬度試驗更能進行材料金相組織及脆性材料的硬度測量。是工廠及質檢部門進行研究測試的理想的硬度測試儀器。
