Skala AQ1

The Skala AQ1 is a water activity meter controlled and operated through Skala’s touch screen.

Use the touch screen to identify a batch or lot and select water activity as the reading type. A light indicates that the AQ1 is ready. Load the sample and move on to your next task.

The Power of Skala

Skala will record the reading as soon as it is taken and display it on Skala HUB and in Skala Control. The reading will be compared to water activity specifications you defined for the product.

Readings marked with a green check are in spec. Readings marked with a blue check are audit-ready, with all the documentation attached to the reading.

Multiple Samples

You can connect up to 7 AQ1s to a single hub to measure water activity of multiple samples simultaneously. Skala keeps track of the samples and correctly identifies and records each reading automatically.

Mini Lab

Add a Skala PH1 to the HUB to create a mini-lab that measures water activity and pH.

Connect Instruments You Already Own

The AQ1’s Skala HUB has 7 data ports. In addition to the AQ1, you can connect lab instruments you already own–pH meters, refractometers, moisture balances–and collect all your QA readings digitally in one place.
